		<description>As I know, there are different companies working at this topic. In the Metaverse-Project, there is the Electric Sheep Company involved, and some big players like IBM. Other "small" scale projects on their way to build meta-worlds is Ogoglio (company: Transmutable) and Metaplace (Areae). 
As far as I could see SL also opens constantly their platform to allow avatar transfer from one world to another. But there are many things still "unsolved" - standards, business models, ...</description>
